This workshop is aimed at any person who would like to learn and understand the ethos and laws of Mini Soccer or for those that are that help out with refereeing these games. (Or looking to train to be a referee) – Please note this is NOT the official 2 Day FA Mini Soccer Course. The evening will run from 7pm to 9.15pm and all you need to bring is yourselves (but a pen and paper can help), it will all be inside and will be a presentation by Steve Worsley, with some audience participation.  (questions are welcome)

Topics covered:

  • Ethos of Mini Soccer
  • Health & Safety for games
  • Laws of mini soccer
  • Application of laws
  • Tips to refereeing

Overall how to keep the game to the laws (learn the laws), but not forgetting that they are young children and want them to have fun.

Lastly, can I remind people, that this is not the full FA mini soccer referee’s course/qualification, which is over 2 days

Places are available on a first come first served basis with a maximum of 24 attendees.

Here is some feedback from the last workshop. Read more here

“Great course Fiona and I think it’s a course as many people as possible especially parents should attend. Worth perhaps running some more. Steve was really informative and I liked the clips he showed which demonstrated what he was talking through.”

“I found the course both informative and enjoyable. It is a good length time wise and I even learnt that I didn’t know the throw in rules after all these years!!”
